Core Service & Offering

Inc Authority’s LLC formation service includes everything you need to register your business with the state government. They handle filing in all 50 states.

The service includes the mandatory ‘Articles of Organization’ filing with the Secretary of State. It also includes Inc Authority as your registered agent. If you don’t have a physical address in the state or prefer not to use yours, Inc Authority will use its own address to receive legal correspondence on your behalf.

Another core service included in the free LLC formation is the EIN registration with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). If you plan to hire employees for your business, you’d need an EIN number from the IRS for tax purposes. Inc Authority handles this process online on your behalf, saving you time and helping you avoid common filing errors.

Inc Authority doesn’t offer a free operating agreement template; you can get it as an add-on. The template is customized according to your business.

Formation Process

The LLC formation process is done completely online and is paperless. Here’s how it goes:

• Fill out the form: The signup form includes four sections, starting with Entity Type, where you specify what type of business you want to register and which state you want to register it in. The next section is about ownership, where you provide details of the owner(s). After that comes the business information section, where you add the description of your business. Lastly, in the customization section, you can add any optional services, such as an operating agreement or trademark registration.
• Pay the fee: Based on your state for registering the LLC and any add-on services, you’ll see your total and get the chance to pay it.
• Account creation: You’ll also create an account with the service, which you can then later use to track progress, access legal documents of registration, and order more services.

Legal & Compliance Tools

Inc Authority doesn’t offer compliance filing services as part of its LLC services. You’d need to complete the annual compliance requirements with the state government.

However, it does offer an extra legal documentation add-on for managing ownership documents for your business.

There’s also a tax preparation service for preparing tax returns for individuals (those who operate as a single-person operation with their SSN) and businesses. This is categorized as a separate service, not part of the LLC formation package.

Additional Services & Add-Ons

Inc Authority offers various business-related services as independent or add-on offerings. Add-ons include:

• Operating Agreement—customized operating agreement creation specific to your business.
• Minutes and Resolution—federal and state compliance package.
• Bylaws—custom bylaws creation for your organization.

Besides add-ons, it offers premium services by itself or through affiliated partners. These include:

• Business plan
• Business credit (via banks)

• Revocable living trust

Ease of Use

The process of signing up for the LLC creation process is pretty straightforward. You don’t have to create an account or provide any personal details first.

It’s a simple multi-step form that walks you through each stage. The right side provides more information about certain aspects of the form, such as why they want your address and name.

The portal is also user-friendly, and you’ll use it once you’ve filled out the form and paid the state filing fee and any add-ons you may be using.

The website is fully responsive, which can be used on mobile devices as easily as on a desktop.
