Although there’s a free plan for forming an LLC, it’s recommended to get one of the two paid plans that include a wider variety of features and support.

The onboarding process is as simple as it gets, it’s transparent, and it’s easy to use no matter the level of experience a person has. Support is average, and could maybe benefit from an upgrade, however, LegalZoom isn’t a law firm, and it’s services are pretty clear.

LegalZoom offers services depending on the type of business the user wants to start. The options include starting an LLC, a Corporation (S corp or C corp), a NonProfit, or a DBA.

Each option is briefly explained, and each business type has a few plans to choose from. When it comes to forming an LLC business, there are three basic plans to choose from: Basic, Pro, and Premium.

The Basic plan starts at $0 plus state filing fees, and it includes basic help with forming an LLC.

The Pro plan includes more advanced services and costs $249 plus state filing fees. Aside from the features included in the Basic package, the Pro plan includes an operating agreement, EIN, bookkeeping tools to track expenses, send invoices, and save on taxes for 3 months, customizable legal documents for one year, unlimited eSignatures for one year, and a customizable website powered by WIX.

The Premium plan includes everything from the Basic and Pro packages, plus assistance from an experienced business attorney and 30-minute attorney consultations about new legal topics related to the client’s business. It costs $299 plus state filing fees.
